Espabad Babbs is an initiate and leader in the Sufi Order that honors and respects all of the world's spiritual traditions. His teacher was the great Sufi mystic, Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan, with whom he studied for twenty years. Espabad continues in the tradition of his friend, guide, and teacher, Pir Vilayat, by guiding and teaching throughout the country and at the Sufi Center of the Ozarks in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He is drawn to the chivalric tradition of the Persian Espabad Knights and to the musical zikrs of the Chishti Sufi lineage.
Neferti Babbs
is an initiate and leader in the Sufi Order. She was inspired by the great
Sufi mystic, Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan. She has studied with many of the female
adepts in the lineage of the Sufi Order. She is devoted to the healing traditions
of her order and to its music, song, and dance. Her light burns bright and
clean.
Together, Espabad and Neferti are the leaders of the Sufi Center of the Ozarks.
